I pulled out one of my favorite Best of stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!, Best of Butterflies, to create this card.  The Best of stamp sets are only available for a few more weeks (through March 31) so be sure that you get your sets before they’re gone.  And if you’ve purchased at least 6 of these sets, don’t forget to redeem your free set before April 30!!  You can see all of the Best of stamp sets that are available here.

My card design today was inspired by Mojo Monday 335.

I started by adhering a strip of Sweet Sorbet DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.  Then I adhered a larger panel of Sweet Sorbet DSP to the Basic Black panel and I adhered the panel to a Crisp Cantaloupe card base with SNAIL.

I stamped the image from the Best of Butterflies stamp set (clear only) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White panel, then adhered that panel to a Basic Black cards stock panel with SNAIL.  I stamped the butterfly image again on a separate Whisper White panel in StazOn Jet Black Ink, then used my Aqua Painter with Crisp Cantaloupe and Summer Starfruit ink pads to paint the image.  I let it dry, then cut it out with my Paper Snips, rolled the wings just a bit then used just a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the butterfly body to the stamped panel.

I adhered the stamped butterfly panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then stamped the sentiment from the Happy Congratulations stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Crisp Cantaloupe ink on a Whisper White panel.  I adhered the sentiment to a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, punched the end with the Hexagon Punch and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

I colored one of the cork flowers from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack (Sale-a-bration item) with my Summer Starfruit Stampin’ Write Marker and adhered it to the sentiment panel.  Then I stamped the small butterfly image from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a White Vellum Panel, dried it with my Heat Tool, punched it out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch and colored the back with my Crisp Cantaloupe and Summer Starfruit Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered the butterfly to the card front with just a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered a strip of leftover Sweet Sorbet DSP over a strip of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock to complete the inside of the card.
